November 23rd, 2008 at 03:22:05 The remakes on Cars and Rsscal Flats got nothin' on Tommy. They even left out the harmonica at the start. As usual nothin' beats the original.
November 23rd, 2008 at 03:45:04 this song owns!
November 23rd, 2008 at 04:08:03 I think Rascal Flatt's is better. But that's my opinion.
November 23rd, 2008 at 04:31:02 Such a great tune. I remember when this first song came out, I bought it and "Just Another Day" by Jon Secada as singles on cassette tapes. I told my friends "These are songs that will still be awesome 20 years from now..." So far, both Jon and Tom are holding up. I don't think anything will change in the next few years to prove this wrong.
November 23rd, 2008 at 04:54:01 DITTO! The Original is the Best! My friend Donnie & I used to use this as a Road Trip SOng along with Black Gold by Soul Asylum. (Let's fill up the Tank and go for a Ride)

November 23rd, 2008 at 08:20:52 I just listened to the Rascal Flatts version, and they did a good job music-wise, but Tom's voice sounds a lot better.
November 23rd, 2008 at 08:43:51 No one does it better than Tom Cochrane always was the best.
